Garden to Plate workshops are run with the support of the City of Mandurah and in partnership with the Mandurah Community Garden and are free for all to attend.

Garden to Plate Mandurah

Mandurah 'Garden to Plate' Community Garden Workshops

Workshops are held on the first Wednesday of the month at the Mandurah Community Garden. Workshops are free to attend - all materials, resources and morning tea is provided. The project is designed to increase the confidence and motivation of participants to eat well and be more active. One way of doing this is increasing their participation at the Mandurah Community Garden.

Garden to Plate workshops aim to improve people’s knowledge and skills in growing their own food, increasing their knowledge and understanding of healthy eating and nutrition.

  • Learn to grow seasonal produce
  • Pest control—minus chemicals
  • Worm farming
  • Composting
  • Learn to garden plot, plant, nurture and harvest fresh fruit and vegetables.
